Hi guys sry for my bad english but it isn t my native lauguage. I will try to explain what i think in the better way i can.
I want to talk about the recent [shadow form] PvE uptade, i think that this uptaded skill will destroy the ectos value like ursan destroyed shards price.
Well, i think all know that now farming ectos whit an A/E or better whit an A/Me is the the simplest thing that a tard player could easily do.
Yesterday some of my friends farmed about 50e in 10 hours and i saw tons of sins soloing in ToA since SF was utaded.
I think that this isn t a nice thing because ectos price will droop soon, they are easier to farm than shards!!!!!
And if ectos will drop their prices FoW armor/chaos Gloves and most of stuff will become a load of rubbish.
Making the farm too easy isn t a nice thing and uw farming (atm the best farming place) will be an usless activity.
Then i think that SF need a new nerf as soon as possible or all gw economy will crash. Last skills balance was orrible and will destroy the gw economy.
What do u think about?

The economy is already dead to be honest, and they don't care about PvE.

If they are to nerf this, they would also hit Ursan, SY, TNTF, ERenewal and Soul Reaping.

farm them while they're still 4.5k and sell them now. time to put all that money in rubies and sapphires.

y economy is already dead but SF uptade will COMPLETELY destroy the gw economy. farming 50e/day i could buy a fow in 2 days, chaos gloves in 1,5 days, eternal in 4-5 days and high-end minis in a few weeks. SF must have a nerf

Well I'm amazed at 50 ectos a day, but my point stands.

All I can say is: As soon as you get them, sell them. They aren't falling at a considerably high speed at the moment which would give you time to gain 1000k very fast.

There have almost always been more ectos than shards in the guildwars economy. People stockpile ecto for their high trades, so there are obviously MANY people with stacks of ectos, however there is no need to collect shards because they have no trading purpose. Shards are farmed, bought, and turned into FoW, not stored like ectos.

And ectos will not drop in price anymore, i'm pretty sure it will remain at the price it is at. I have no proof to back this up, Its just what i think will be the case >.>

Farming UW has always been fairly easy, it's just brain-meltingly boring. As long as people like me prefer to do fun things instead, ectos will have value.

I can't imagine how dull you'd have to be to farm 50 ectos every day.

I'm not amazed at 50e a day at all. A couple guild members were farming the other day and were getting 5-10 per run at 45 mins a run tops (closer to 30 mins a run).. well do the math.

I would jump on this if I wasn't stuck with a connection that doesn't want to cooperate with me. Oh well, hopefully Guild Wars economy isn't completely trashed by the time I come back fully (in September

). Although, GAMM will be easier then so... trash on :-p.

Is it just me, or is the economy always trashed in every game in the players eyes?

Ecto has stayed at 5.5k for what a week + now? I don't think it will ruin the economy.

I m sure prices will drop really soon... And the bad thing is that high-end armors/wepons could be owned in a really easy way..

BTW *54 ectos farmed in a day

ecto is stock piled and used as currency, therefore will probably maintain its value of between 4.7-5k
its always been easily farmed

umm...the GW economy is already dead. it died when ectos hit 21/100k, I remember when it was like 10/100k. also when armbraces went to 100k+15-20e, weren't they at like 100k+100e or more before? also when shards went to less than 2k, I remember them being at around 7-8k for 1...lets see what else we can add in to show economic death, hmm...

this sf update just allows the average player to get more money. freaks like those you spoke of getting 50e in 1 day need whats called a life.

IMHO, ecto value won't drop. It's been stable for ages at 4.5k-5k because it's constantly in demand. A LOT of people buy ectos to trade and as long as they'll do, IMHO, will remain the same price.

And yes, your average player can now get more money. What's wrong with that? Afraid leet items will go down in price? >_>;;;

You know, I can't think of a single reason why I'm supposed to be sad that prices are going down. Is this bizzaro world where I should be excited to pay more for the privilege of having the same amount of stuff?

As consumers, we all benefit when the prices go down. Only the crazy lolbars lose out because of the increased competition.

Even the people using ectos as a store of value aren't going to be hurt, as they can just switch their cash into lockpicks, the T-Bill of GW. Sure, they might take a hit on the transition, but it isn't like it'll really hurt em. I can hear their cries even now, from teh future: "Oh noes, I lost 1-3% of my meeeelions of GW dollars, teh horrors! It are Democralypse Now!"

Now if only Anet would add a rubies and sapphires dungeon and let the lolbars get to work on those prices too. Cheaper everything!
